AVG anti-virus download question?

I went to download AVG 8.5 free from cnet and as I was installing it, it said that there is a conflict with Zone Alarm and that I have to remove it before AVG can complete the download.

I just search up all signs and deleted AVG because That never happened before with other anti-virus software.

The question is, Is something fishy about it wanting me to uninstall Zone Alarm or is that a normal thing now?

AVG is set to not install when there is another anti-Virus program on the system.. You must completely remove “Zone Alarm” before trying to install “AVG” you can download AVG, remove Zone Alarm, and then after the removal is complete (You may have to restart) then you can click on AVG and install it. I highly recommend AVG for a virus scanner. But by all means, keep zone alarm, if you’re comfortable with it.
