free ftp client windows

I Need a Simple Windows FTP Client so I Can Allow a Friend to Upload Files into a Secure Website

They are not tech savvy and have NO IDEA what FTP means or does. I am on Mac and not Windows so I have no idea what FTP tools are available. I want one that is a FREE DOWNLOAD and easy to install and with a simple interface. Any Ideas, Links??? Thanks!

what it is = File Transfer Protocol
what it does = allows you to transfer files to/from remote servers

To set them up with a FTP connection, you wont even need to download any software, as Windows has this functionality built in..

Have them Right click on their desktop
go to NEW
select SHORTCUT

enter
%windir%explorer.exe ftp://ftp.YOURSITE.com/

hit next
type in
My FTP Site (or whatever name you want to give it)
and click FINISH
