If my computer can’t read CDs, where can I download antivirus for free?

My computer got a virus a few years back, and it killed the CD drive. My father bought Norton Antivirus 2009 with antispyware, and we’d prefer not to purchase it again. Is there a free download out there, where I can download it, then enter the pin number?
