What is the best free online dating site that IS NOT all about sex?

I’m looking for a genuinely good site to meet new people. I’m not interested in video chatting or any sort of immediate sexual relationship. Does anyone have any good suggestions for sites that are for meeting and not mostly sex?

Dude, I love using okcupid.com. It’s one of the best sites out there to meet people who are young & hip. Also, there are a lot of different people on there looking for both casual and long-term relationships.

Also, not sure why you’re opposed to video chatting… no matter where i meet people I like to video chat them beforehand to make sure we can at least hold a conversation. Have you ever tried WooMe.com? I actually work for WooMe, but have met some people IRL there as well as OKCupid.

Eharmony and match.com are great sites too, but they’re more for people looking for long-lasting relationships and I believe they both cost money to use (they’re not my favorites to use, personally).
